This place suits me perfectly, with free wi-fi, a cozy bar, and 24-hour security. During my first stay, the staff helped me with taxi arrangements. They were always friendly, just like Gail, who made dining enjoyable. I'll be back for a business trip!

The venue is big and fairly clean with a good value and amiable and attentive staff. Decent meals. Remote location flexible in allowing me to use the car park while I climbed the mountain. Close to the centre, the Highlands, the shores. A very lovely stay for my holidays.

Great music night!
We stayed for a quick night and the staff were super friendly! The room was spacious and comfy. Had an amazing time during the live music at the bar-it was so fun to join in! Only thing was the breakfast setup felt a bit messy and lacked sauces. A nice cozy experience!

The kids loved the bunk beds and we all relished the full Scottish breakfast. The location is superb, perfect for hiking and spotting local wildlife.
In my wife's opinion, the rooms could use a kettle and a TV. An extra set of towels for the kids would be great.

Fine location and generous portions
The hotel is in a beautiful spot, right by the loch, providing amazing views. We enjoyed a decent family room with a very comfortable queen-size bed, and the breakfast was good with plenty of options. The staff were great. The dining options could use a bit more variety as the menu felt somewhat limited.

the rooms could use a little updating.

The Dundonnell had some standout moments. The views from my room were amazing, overlooking the loch. The atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and inviting, largely thanks to the friendly staff. I really enjoyed the food. The lamb dish for dinner was excellent, and breakfast had delicious bacon that hit the spot. The live music events two nights a week brought a unique charm to the place. On the downside, the decor was quite dated, giving a worn feel to the overall ambiance. My bathroom was old-fashioned and needed some TLC, especially the shower curtain, in poor condition. The bed left much to be desired. It was hard and uncomfortable. The shower pressure was also disappointing, which might be due to the gravity-fed water system. There's no TV in the rooms, which I found refreshing at first, but it left me wanting for simple entertainment in the evenings.

Live music in the bar added a nice touch to our stay. Rooms need updates and no TV made evenings dull.

fine location by the loch, quirky vintage bar atmosphere, drying room for cycling equipment
The lack of modern amenities like TV and Wi-Fi in rooms is quite underwhelming!!! The outdated decor and furnishings throughout the hotel really take away from the experience!!!

peaceful retreat with easy access to fine natural attractions
I recently spent a night here and was thrilled by the fantastic nearby scenery, especially Ardessie Falls, just under 4 km away. The warm welcome I received from the staff in the cozy bar after a day of exploring was the cherry on top of my vacays.
